1. What is Sahilia?

Sahilia is a modern beauty brand rooted in the ancient self-care rituals of the Sahel. We craft intentional scents and body care products that honour tradition, evoke memory, and celebrate elegance.

2. Are your products natural or organic?

Yes. We source high-quality ingredients — including essential oils, cold-pressed carrier oils, and natural resins — with a focus on purity, sustainability, and skin-friendliness. Where possible, we prioritise organic ingredients.

3. Do your oils contain alcohol?

Our perfume oils, body oils and hair serums are completely alcohol-free. Our Humrahs are made with reduced alcohol or alcohol-free blends, specially formulated for sensitive skin and cultural preferences.

4. What is Humrah?

Humrah (or khumra) is a traditional fragrance blend from the Sahel region, especially beloved in Northern Nigeria. It’s deeply smoky, resinous, and layered. It is handcrafted with onycha, sandalwood, bakhour, and perfumed oils.

5. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. UK shipping typically takes 3–5 working days. For international orders, shipping times vary depending on location. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

6. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we currently offer international shipping to select countries. If your region isn’t available at checkout, please email us and we’ll do our best to assist.

7. Can I customise a scent?

very soon you would be able to create your own signature oil via our Create Your Scent service. We’ll work closely with you to craft something unique and personal. 

8. Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Our formulations are gentle and nourishing, but we recommend patch testing first. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, feel free to contact us for a full ingredients list.

9. What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened items. However, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.
